Terms of Service

1. Definitions

In these Terms of Service (the "Terms"):

• "Site", "we", "us", "our" means Lahore.cc, its owners, operators, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents.
• "You", "User" means any person who accesses, browses, registers on, or otherwise uses the Site, whether as a visitor, registered member, advertiser, or listing owner.
• "Listing" means any advertisement, property description, image, price, contact detail, or other content posted on the Site.
• "Content" means all text, images, data, links, and other material submitted, posted, or transmitted by Users.
• "Transaction" means any rental, lease, sale, purchase, booking, deposit, payment, agreement, or dealing of any kind between Users arising in connection with a Listing.

2. Nature of the Service — We Are Only a Venue

The Site is a passive, neutral online venue that allows Users to publish and view property Listings. We do not own, sell, rent, lease, manage, inspect, endorse, verify, or take possession of any property advertised on the Site. We are not a party to any Transaction, agreement, negotiation, or communication between Users.

We do not act as an agent, broker, or representative of any User. We do not screen Users, Listings, or properties, and we are under no obligation to do so. Any reference to "verified" listings, badges, or similar labels reflects at most a limited, non-binding, automated or clerical convenience and must not be relied upon as a guarantee of accuracy, legality, ownership, condition, or fitness of any property or party.

All Transactions are conducted solely between Users at their own risk and on their own judgment. You are solely responsible for evaluating and verifying the identity, legitimacy, legal ownership, title, condition, and suitability of any property, person, or offer, and for the terms of any Transaction you enter into.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use the Site. By using the Site you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is true, accurate, current, and complete.

4. Accounts and Security

Certain features require you to register an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized use of your account, whether or not you notified us. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate any account at any time, for any reason or no reason, without notice or liability.

5. User Content and Listings

You are solely and exclusively responsible for any Content and Listings you submit. You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the lawful right, title, authority, and all necessary permissions to advertise the property and to post the Content;
• The Content is accurate, current, lawful, and not misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive;
• The Content does not infringe any intellectual property, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other right of any third party;
• The Content does not contain viruses, malware, or harmful code, and does not violate any applicable law or regulation.

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, perpetual and irrevocable license to host, store, use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, display, distribute, and promote your Content on and in connection with the Site and its marketing, without compensation to you. You waive any moral rights in the Content to the extent permitted by law.

We may, but are not obligated to, review, moderate, edit, refuse, remove, or delete any Content or Listing at any time, for any reason or no reason, without notice and without liability.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to, and not to permit others to:

• Post false, fraudulent, misleading, duplicate, or spam Listings, or advertise property you have no right to advertise;
• Post any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, harassing, threatening, or that promotes illegal activity;
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
• Collect, harvest, or scrape data or contact details of other Users, or use the Site to send unsolicited communications;
• Interfere with, disrupt, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or its security features;
• Use the Site for money laundering, fraud, or any purpose that violates applicable law.

You are solely responsible for any violation of these prohibitions and for all resulting consequences and liabilities.

7. No Verification, No Endorsement, No Advice

We do not verify, and make no representation or warranty regarding, the identity of any User; the ownership, title, existence, availability, legality, condition, boundaries, measurements, zoning, or price of any property; the accuracy or completeness of any Listing; or the ability or intention of any User to complete a Transaction. Any content on the Site, including blog articles and area guides, is provided for general information only and does not constitute legal, financial, tax, investment, real estate, or professional advice. You should obtain independent professional advice before entering into any Transaction.

8. Transactions and Dealings Between Users Are at Your Own Risk

Any Transaction, communication, or dealing you have with another User — including inspecting a property, paying any deposit, advance, token, rent, or price, signing any agreement, or handing over any money or documents — is entirely between you and the other User and is undertaken at your own sole risk. We are not involved in and are not responsible for such Transactions in any way.

We strongly recommend that you exercise caution, meet in safe public settings, independently verify ownership documents and identities, never send money in advance without verification, and involve qualified legal and financial professionals. We are not responsible for, and expressly disclaim all liability arising from, any fraud, scam, misrepresentation, non-payment, non-performance, property defect, dispute, injury, loss, or damage of any kind connected with any Transaction or User.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, communication tools (such as WhatsApp), or services that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, availability, or practices of any third party, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

10. Intellectual Property

The Site, including its design, layout, logos, trademarks, text, graphics, and software (but excluding User Content), is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, frame, scrape, or create derivative works from the Site without our prior written consent.

11. Fees

Basic use of the Site may be free. We may offer optional paid features (such as featured or promoted Listings). Any fees are payable in advance, are non-refundable to the maximum extent permitted by law, and do not create any obligation on us to guarantee results, views, inquiries, or the success of any Listing or Transaction. We may change fees at any time.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Please read this section carefully.

THE SITE, ALL CONTENT, AND ALL LISTINGS ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components, or that any Listing or information is accurate, complete, reliable, or current. No advice or information obtained from the Site creates any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, PROPERTY, OR OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SITE, ANY LISTING, ANY CONTENT, ANY USER, OR ANY TRANSACTION, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM: (a) the conduct, acts, or omissions of any User; (b) any fraud, scam, misrepresentation, or illegal act by any User; (c) the accuracy, legality, or condition of any property or Listing; (d) any dispute, non-payment, non-performance, or breach relating to a Transaction; (e) any personal injury, property damage, or financial loss connected with a property or meeting; or (f) any interruption, error, or unauthorized access to the Site or your data.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (i) THE TOTAL FEES YOU ACTUALLY PAID TO US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (ii) PKR 1,000. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU; IN SUCH CASES OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lahore.cc and its owners, operators, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with: (a) your use of the Site; (b) your Content or Listings; (c) any Transaction or dealing with another User; (d) your violation of these Terms or any law; or (e) your infringement of any right of any third party. We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense of any matter subject to indemnification, at your expense, and you agree to cooperate with us.

15. Release

Because we are only a venue, if you have a dispute with one or more Users, you release us (and our owners, operators, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents) from any and all claims, demands, damages, and liabilities of every kind, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes or the Transactions underlying them.

16. Termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site (in whole or in part), or terminate or restrict your access, at any time, for any reason or no reason, without notice or liability. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, release, and governing law — survive.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that the courts located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. Any claim you may have must be brought within one (1) year after it arises, or it is permanently barred.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on the Site. Changes are effective when posted. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. Please review this page periodically.

19. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, that provision will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and supersede all prior agreements. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them freely.
